At one end of the scale minimalism looks set to be a winner for spring/summer 2012, whether in the sleek, slicked back styles at Victoria Beckham and Giambattista Valli, or the no-fuss centre-parted styles at Lacoste or Chloe. At the other end though, high impact hair was at its best in the bright painted up-dos at Thakoon and Narciso Rodriguez, or the bouffant beehives of Diane von Furstenberg.
